


Dani Iannarelli has an extensive dance background including Tap, Tango, Lindy Hop (Jitterbug) , Swing , Jive and Character covering 33 years.
A full member of British Actors' Equity, Dani has considerable experience in cabaret, dance revue shows and on the musical stage (in 1987 taking on the role of Riff' in West Side Story', to an acclaimed review to name but one of the many stage musicals in which he has featured at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh). His sporting interests include karate (in which he holds rank of 4th Dan Black Belt, and has practiced for 36 years, and had instructed for 16 years). His expertise in karate has helped considerably with his dance, activating a profound insight into body movement, poise, fluidity, balance, timing and coordination.
Dani has been practicing Tango for 11 years and has visited Buenos Aires nine times (7x for the Fabian Salas CITA / 4x for Gustavo Naveira's excellent tango seminars). He has danced and taken workshops/lessons in numerous other worldwide locations, and with many of the world's leading tango exponents/teachers, including (to name merely a few) Fabian Salas, Gustavo Naveira, Eduardo Capussi y Mariana Flores, Pablo Veron, Mariana Montes y Sebastian Arce, Zoraida Fontclara y Diego Alvaro, Pablo Fontana and Carina Losano (co-choreographer to the biographical movie Evita' starring Madonna).
