...by Dani Iannarelli, the Club ~Tango*La Dolce Vita~ remit is to disseminate information on classes, festivals, events etc and to promote the culture, music, art, practice, philosophy and principles of authentic (ie Argentine) Tango and all it's forms and facets... including both exhibition/show/stage performance and social/salon tango.

In its own way, this facilitates the bringing out of the best in each of us in our relative connection in the dance to the internal and the external (ie, respectively, ourselves... and our dance-partner, music and, where appropriate, our audience).

Although the primary focus is Tango, it is important to highlight other forms and facets not only of dance in general but also of all related arts such as music and acting... and of the related people(teachers and participants).

To this end, this site display not only tango images and music but also aspects of other genres. Therefore, the philosophy of this website/'club' is to extend branches of interest and friendship out to anything of relevance to tango and other related art forms.

It offers all tangueros (and, indeed, all dancers of all forms of dance) and actors and performers of all theatrical arts and elements (amateur and professional) a melting pot of interests relating - mainly - to the culture, tradition, art, philosophy and principles of the art of tango.

Bedtime thoughts...

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous’? Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others”
